I'm new to this forum. I have one doubt in PHP. I want to send greetings to employees in a office on their B'Day. I want to do it in automatically when the sys boots. Means if sys boots the php code will be run and it check the sys date with Database . then if any one have BDAY then send greetings thru mail.

Is it possible? PLz clarify it?

Yeah that is possible.  How are you planning on storing the birthdays?  In a file or a database?

Hopefully a database, It's easier. lol

You can set a MySQL trigger event but whether this is the best way I don't know.  All I can do is give a link to read up on as all I've done is read up on them myself.
