I am trying to install a wordpress blog and need help.

When I go to my website it want to find or save a file. It is suppose to going to a login page to complete the install.

I have php 5 installed on my linx vitual server. Can anyone help me with this?

it seems that you web server is not running or you php in not correctly configured with your web server. you didn't mention you web server.

if you are owner, then check this otherwise contact the service provider company

Maybe you could try (could've tried) to point the browser directly to the install file, which is /wp-admin/install.php

when u have everything installed does it come back with a blank index page or blank install page?
